Synthomer unveils new innovation centre in Shanghai
Synthomer has announced the formal opening of its new “China Innovation Centre (CIC)” in Shanghai.
The 2,000 m2 facility is intended to strengthen Synthomer’s capabilities for developing high-performance, highly specialised polymers and innovative ingredients used throughout everyday life in coatings, adhesives, construction, health and protection, renewable energy and electric vehicles, in partnership with Synthomer’s customers in the region.
More than 10 R&D laboratories
A team of scientists, technicians and technical service managers will work at the facility, which offers more than 10 R&D laboratories, offices, and collaborative workspaces. The CIC joins Synthomer’s network of five innovation centres of excellence and seven technical centres around the world, located to strengthen its presence in key global markets and to facilitate close collaboration with its customers.
