Bodo Möller Chemie and Dow Aksa enter into partnership for carbon fibre products
Bodo Möller Chemie and Dow Aksa have entered into a strategic partnership to expand Bodo Möller Chemie’s product portfolio to include carbon fibre products.

Dow Aksa, the world’s largest manufacturer of acrylic fibres, provides carbon fibres that are of interest in various industries such as automotive, aerospace, rail vehicle construction and wind power. These products complement the existing range of Bodo Möller Chemie, which includes high-performance resins.
Frank Haug, CEO of the Bodo Möller Chemie Group, explains that the partnership expands the range of materials and strengthens the market position in important future-oriented areas. The cooperation is designed to provide customers with access to high-quality products and technical support.
Focus on innovative materials and sustainable technologies
The partnership will focus on carbon fibre products and carbon fibre-reinforced intermediates such as fabrics, prepregs and pultruded profiles. These materials are used in particular in areas where weight savings, energy efficiency and durability are required, such as in the automotive, aerospace and wind power industries.
Dr Eric Hernandez, Business Director EIMEA at Bodo Möller Chemie, emphasises that the partnership strengthens the company’s focus on sustainable technologies. Massimo Rebolini, CEO of Dow Aksa, sees the cooperation as an opportunity to meet the demand for lightweight and high-performance materials in Europe while promoting sustainability.
