Hubergroup opens new production site in Poland
Hubergroup produces water-based coatings and solvent-based inks for flexo and gravure printing in the new buildings, and has metering lines for offset inks, including UV inks. In addition, the site has a laboratory with a customer service and technical service department. More than 100 employees work at the new plant, which acts as Hubergroup’s central service hub for Eastern Europe.
Production started in fall 2020
Hubergroup has been operating a blending station in Poland since 1992. Now the printing ink specialist has expanded the Polish branch into a production facility. As a central service hub for Eastern Europe, the site also has a laboratory with a customer service department and a technical service department. The laboratory is dedicated to all types of printing inks and is intended to support print shops from all over the world. The Wroclaw site is Hubergroup’s third production facility in Europe – joining the plants in Celle, Germany, and Bolzano Vicentino, Italy.
Production at the new site started in the fall of 2020 and has been expanded step by step since then. All production lines, offices and the laboratory are now fully operational. Dr. Janusz Cymanek, Managing Director of Hubergroup Poland, explains, “With the new plant, Hubergroup has also invested in state-of-the-art equipment. We are pleased that the site is now fully operational and that we can now supply our customers with large quantities of high-quality printing inks and coatings even faster.”
