Yann Lissillour becomes CEO of Safic-Alcan
Martial Lecat and Philippe Combette, who joined Safic-Alcan in June and October 1988 respectively, have ceased their functions within the Executive Committee on April 1, 2022. At the same time, Philippe Combette handed over the presidency of the group to Yann Lissillour.
Under the leadership of Martial Lecat and Philippe Combette, Safic-Alcan, which celebrates its 175th anniversary this year, has become a European leader in the distribution of speciality raw materials for the formulation industry.
It has undergone a profound transformation, which began in the 1990s with a broad diversification of its distribution markets and an internationalization of its activities, both through organic and external growth, making the company the only independent French distributor in its market sector with international coverage.
Martial Lecat will continue to chair the group’s Supervisory Board and Philippe Combette will also remain a member of the Supervisory Board. The company’s Executive Committee will henceforth be composed of:
- Yann Lissillour CEO and Head of group M&A
- Jean-Michel Guyon Chief Financial Officer
- Philippe Cenreaud Managing Director Performance Products
- Jose Lora Managing Director Life Sciences
- Juliette Gamez Chief Digital Officer
Yann Lissillour joined Safic-Alcan in 2000 and has held various commercial and managerial positions during his career within the group. He has been in charge of acquisitions since 2016 and was appointed COO last November.
