A few years ago, Adler had opened a new waterborne paint factory and a new logistics center in Schwaz. Now the next expansion is imminent with the so-called “Factory of the Future” project.

In the coming months, a fully automated raw materials warehouse and a new pre-picking hall will be built. There, employees will assemble the raw materials needed for each production batch – with digital support and at modern and ergonomically equipped workstations.

Third production hall for waterborne coatings

A third production hall for waterborne coatings is then to be built, and a new goods receiving area is also planned. Adler intends to invest around EUR 100 million in the project, with which the company will create new production capacities and continue on the path to Industry 4.0.

In addition, investments are also being made in field offices: In Vienna, preparations are underway to build a spacious and modern service base, Adler’s Czech subsidiary has already recently received a new headquarters, and the company’s network in Germany is also to be more closely knit.
