Sto acquires remaining shares in Sto Italia
Sto SE & Co. KGaA, one of the major international manufacturers of products and systems for building coatings, has acquired the remaining 48 % of the shares in Sto Italia Srl, Empoli/Italy, from the previous minority owners.
Sto Italia Srl, which is already fully consolidated in the Sto Group, currently employs over 50 people and focuses in particular on the external wall insulation systems (ETICS) product segment.
Increasing importance
According to company information, the Italian subsidiary is developing very positively and has gained in importance within the Sto Group, also thanks to the Italian government’s subsidy programme for the energy-efficient refurbishment of buildings. The Managing Director of the company was confirmed in his position.
