After the merger: New joint company name for DCC and Lansco
In April 2018, H.I.G. Capital combined the pigment suppliers Dominion Colour Corporation and Lansco Colors. Now the new company name DCL Corporation was presented.
“With world-class manufacturing, research and technical service labs, and sales offices around the globe, we are poised to rapidly respond to customer needs and make a positive impact,” said Chuck Herak, CEO of DCL Corporation.
Competing on a global stage
Herak added that “DCL Corporation is large enough to compete on a global stage by servicing multi-national customers while still being responsive to the needs of our small and medium sized customers all over the world.”
The combination of DCC and Lansco is supposed to bring together the strengths of both companies, significantly benefitting pigment consuming customers by offering a broad portfolio of color pigments and technical expertise. “Together, we bring a broad product portfolio to the market with a unique value proposition,” commented Dr. Mark Vincent, C.E.O, Dominion Colour Corporation in 2018.
