The BASF Handbook covers the entire spectrum from coatings formulation and relevant production processes through to practical application aspects. The coating industry‘s most comprehensive handbook is now available in its 3rd edition as a print version and an eBook in European Coatings 360°.
On its 828 pages, the BASF Handbook by Prof. Artur Goldschmidt and Dr Hans-Joachim Streitberger takes a journey through the industry‘s various sectors, placing special emphasis on automotive coating and industrial coating in general. The new edition has been completely updated, featuring several new sections on nanoproducts, low-emissions, bio-based materials, wind turbine coating, and smart coatings. Compared to its predecessor from 2017, the book has been updated with up-to-date market data, new raw materials, new legislative development and the state of the art in coatings processes.
