Chemetall expands production site in Germany
Chemetall will expand its production site in Langelsheim, Germany. This capacity expansion will provide the surface treatment global business unit of BASF's Coatings division enhanced scope and production of its aircraft sealants.
The groundbreaking ceremony is scheduled for March 2018.
Positive growth forecasts

New laboratories and offices
In addition to the capacity expansion, Chemetall will build laboratories and offices at its plant in Langelsheim. The site supports the production of aircraft sealing compounds, anti-corrosive agents, cleaning products and other chemicals for the surface treatment of metals. This project is the company's largest single investment at its largest plant globally.
