Epple Druckfarben acquires shares in Pulse Printing Products
Epple Druckfarben, located in Neusäß/Germany, a manufacturer of sheetfed offset inks and coatings, has acquired shares in the British coatings and adhesives manufacturer Pulse Printing Products, Bristol/U.K.
This takes Epple's business with its English sales partner Pulse to a new level. The German printing ink manufacturer expands its portfolio with high-quality printing materials and strengthens its position in the important British printing market.
Exclusive distribution in the United Kingdom
For two years now, Epple Druckfarben and Pulse Printing Products have been pursuing a successful partnership in which Pulse takes over the exclusive distribution of Epple Druckfarben in the United Kingdom. Pulse is a long-time experienced and competent supplier of consumables for the graphic arts industry with its own development, production and worldwide distribution.
Broader product portfolio and logistical advantages
Against the backdrop of further internationalisation and growing export business, Epple had meanwhile further expanded its strategic partnership with Pulse as a contract manufacturer of Epple coatings. In the course of Epple's participation in Pulse, the logical combination of Pulse products with the printing inks and printing aids from the Epple portfolio was achieved. This has advantages for Epple's logistics and product range: for international markets, printing inks and varnishes can be shipped from Bristol.
Epple's product range will be expanded to include the Pulse range. Epple's existing formulations and products will be retained and further developed.
