In a review, researchers from DWI Leibniz Institut für Interaktive Materialien gave an overview of the synthetic methods and their respective products for the most popular UV-absorbing nanomaterials, including zinc oxide, titanium dioxide, cerium dioxide and ferrous oxides, and oxyhydroxides.
