Vottler announces new CEO
Since 1 July 2018, Markus Albrecht is the sole management director of the coating manufacturer Vottler Lackfabrik GmbH & Co. KG, based in Korntal-Münchingen, Germany.
The graduate engineer for process technology is responsible for the management of all areas of the family-owned company. Markus Albrecht has 20 years of experience in executive positions in various companies, including ABB Kraftwerke AG, Eisenmann Anlagenbau GmbH & Co. KG und Riebesam GmbH & Co. KG.
For the past five years, Markus Albrecht has been managing director at ASYS Automatic Systems GmbH & Co. KG, a manufacturer of robots and handling systems for the use in ultra-high vacuum and in atmospheres of highest purity. He led the divisions sales, purchasing, engineering, quality management and service.
Longterm future strategy
The appointment of Markus Albrecht as CEO has completed a series of measures Votteler has taken to secure the future of the family company for the long-term. As early as 2014, all family associates transferred their shares to a foundation. As a second step, all family-associated managing directors have terminated their occupation. Chair of the family foundation is Dr. Rainer Votteler.
