IGM Resins successfully produces first batch of photoinitiator in Anqing

Precisely 13 months after the formal groundbreaking ceremony, IGM Resins has produced the first batch of photoinitiator in Anqing, China.

This milestone is an important achievement for IGM’s Anqing project and is part of an investment to deliver a 133,333 square meter high tech production facility for Photoinitiators in the Anqing High-tech Industry Development Zone, to be fully commissioned throughout 2021.

“IGM Anqing represents the largest local foreign investment project in Anqing City and High-tech Zone,” says Michael Lotman, IGM’s Vice President of Operations. “Throughout 2020 the IGM team in both Haimen and Anqing, but also the contractors faced great challenges caused by COVID-19 and severe weather conditions. This first batch in only 13 months times is the result of an impressive achievement in project management, safety management and overall great teamwork.”
