EC Webinar on behalf of Heraeus: AGXX – a long-lasting, regulatory compliant in-can and film preservation solution
AGXX is a new antimicrobial technology which is based on a catalytical reaction induced by an interaction of two precious metals, generating reactive oxygen species (ROS) in the presence of water and oxygen. As AGXX is not based on the release of any metals or harmful compounds into the environment, it offers long-lasting protection and is compliant with increasingly stringent regulatory requirements. The technology has shown antimicrobial efficacy against over 130 microorganisms including bacteria, viruses, algae, and fungi. AGXX is applicable as an additive to various paints and coatings prolonging product lifetimes.
