Kansai Helios completed its acquisition of Weilburger Coatings
Kansai Helios has finalised the acquisition of Kansai HeliosCoatings, the entire industrial coatings business of Grebe Holding in Weilburg, Germany. Together with Kansai Helios, Weilburger Coatings intends to further strengthen its innovative power.
With the completion of the acquisition, Kansai Helios becomes the new owner of Weilburger Coatings, which consists of group companies in Germany, Italy, France, Turkey, USA, Brazil, India and China. Weilburger Coatings is a group of companies with a rich tradition and a history stretching back more than 120 years. With around 600 employees at seven production sites and several sales offices, the company is successful worldwide.
With a turnover of around 150 million euros, Weilburger Coatings is known for its non-stick coatings, high-temperature coatings, web coatings and speciality coatings. This consolidation is a decisive step to strengthen Kansai Helios’ market position in a broad range of industrial coatings segments and to promote an expanding international presence. By strategically pooling resources and expertise, the company aims not only to further enhance its competitive edge, but also to further deepen its connections to global markets and promote sustainable growth and innovation.
