At the European Coating Show 2025, hubergroup Chemicals will unveil its bio-based UV oligomers designed for wood and plastic surfaces. These innovative resins provide excellent reactivity and stain resistance, containing 50 % bio-based carbon.

In response to increasing regulatory scrutiny of monomer acrylates and growing demand for sustainable and bio-based materials, the company employs readily available sugar alcohols such as sorbitol and xylitol as building blocks. Their rigidity and functionality surpass traditional bio-based polyols, enabling high-performance coatings that meet modern sustainability requirements.
