The titanium dioxide RC 819 can now be used for two different applications: solvent-based printing inks and masterbatches.
Special organic surface treatment results in outstanding dispersibility and significantly improves processing conditions. The migration level in the final application is reduced. Optimised inorganic and organic surface treatment enable its application in systems where low volatiles are required.
Incorporating this TiO2 in a polymer contributes to increased processability, to the development of much more efficient processing conditions and higher production capacity. The improved properties allow the production of high-quality products even at high pigment loadings. Excellent dispersibility, achieved by special surface treatment enables its use in solvent-based printing inks production – achieving high opacity and high gloss.
