Improve dry times and durability in high solids alkyd systems

VOCs can be released from paint in room temperature conditions. These gases can be harmful to people and the environment, and governments around the world have regulated VOCs under strict laws.

Although most VOCs get released as vapor when paint is applied, paint can still release hazardous VOCs after it dries. Increasing solids can help reduce VOCs in alkyd coatings, but doing so may impact cure times, thickness, leveling, and film properties.
