Before a supplier and a customer in the colour industry agree on delivery tolerances or deviations, both sides should know how exactly they can check these requirements. Coloristic tests are always based on a sample preparation process that has statistical variations.
After a brief refresher on the subject of test scattering and fluctuations the seminar looks at possible sources of error in the testing process based on many years of practical experience and presents the basics of a measurement system analysis. If necessary, the test process can then be improved on this basis. The measured values or color differences obtained must be evaluated with regard to their significance. Are these differences possibly only within the test scatter? Based on this knowledge, both parties can agree on specifications and tolerances.
In this seminar you will learn:
- Test scatter
- Recognizing sources of error in test processes
- Basics of a measurement system analysis
- Measurement system analysis, evaluation and significance test (according to DIN 55600)
