It is no secret that the demands on the sustainability of coatings are constantly increasing. Protective coatings are no exception. Efforts to make these coatings more sustainable are one of the main drivers of research and development. Approaches for more sustainable protective coatings range from water-borne to lower VOC content to reducing the amount of material used.
