Protective coatings at the European Coatings Show Conference 2021
Probably the oldest functions for coatings is protection, and even today it is still one of the most important ones. With two dedicated sessions at this year’s ECS Conference, protective coatings will be the most prominent topic.
Every day bridges, cars, buildings and many other items we use on a daily basis are affected by corrosive and destructive circumstances. This is not only a problem of less favourable optics or the loss of value, it also can become a serious safety problem. Protective coatings are the strongest weapon to slow down this process.
At this years’ European Coatings Show two sessions will focus on protective coatings and give you insights into latest innovations that can help to slow down that process. Among other there will be lectures about low zinc epoxy primers, graphene additives, organofunctional silanes in polyaspartic coatings, bio-based corrosion inhibitors and much more.
