Abrafati Show set for June 2022
The coatings industry leading event in Latin America is set to take place from June 21 to 23 of next year at São Paulo Expo, in São Paulo (Brazil). Originally expected to be held in late 2021, the paint and coatings industry’s leading event in Latin America, and one of the most import of its kind around the globe, has been postponed, so that it can be held with maximum safety in terms of health and with the quality level that has always characterised it.
“While there has been a rather significant improvement in epidemiological conditions in the past few weeks, uncertainties and insecurity still loomed over all audiences,” Abrafati executive president Luiz Cornacchioni explains. “We were permanently at work assessing scenarios and using all efforts to get alternative dates. A few days ago, a postponement opportunity arose, and we decided to conduct a broad inquiry with exhibitors and potential visitors, which showed us the best way to go would really be to move the show to June.”
More time to take care of all preparations
As a result, besides the added safety in terms of sanitary and vaccination concerns, exhibitors are going to have more time to take care of all preparations for their participation. Another important benefit is the more plausible possibility that there will be a significant presence of lecturers and visitors from abroad, given the relaxation and/or elimination of restrictions that are currently in place.
The Abrafati Show is intended to allow the market as a whole – which is experiencing substantial expansion right now – to get to know and discuss key innovations in raw materials, formulations, processes and technologies in the paint and coatings industry, as well as the quality, performance, sustainability and functionalities of paints designed for the most varied of applications. The show will also be a unique networking opportunity, as the first event in the region where all leading professionals in the industry will be able to reunite.
