The agreement will see the ACI Group product portfolio expand with the addition of three new Chem Additive products, as the China-based developer seeks to expand its European presence. These products are a defoamer, a surfactant for water-based industrial coatings and pressure-sensitive adhesives, and silicone-free surfactant ingredients with wetting, defoaming and dispersing properties.

“Ideal choice”

Karsten Smet, Director at ACI Group, comments: “The agreement for ACI Group to supply Chem Additive products to the European market is a real coup, and further strengthens our already robust product portfolio in the Industrial sector. Chem Additive has proven the quality of its products across Asia, and we are confident that their performance additives will resonate well with our European customers. With a strong focus on products for waterborne systems, they’re an ideal choice to support the development of more sustainable end products.”
