American Coatings Show and Conference 2020 cancelled

The organizers of the American Coatings Show and Conference 2020 (ACS/ACC) just announced that both events are cancelled due to the global COVID-19 pandemic. The next show will be held in April 2022.

After long consideration, including input from the industry, the organizers decided to cancel the ACS/ACC 2020. According to the organizing committee the decision was unavoidable under the given all relevant circumstances, including the continued unknown variables of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, corresponding changes by governments, and challenges to businesses. The show will resume its biennial schedule April 5-7, 2022, at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis.

Although the 2020 installment will not proceed this year, the ACS/ACC plans to continue to serve as the most significant coatings show in North America when it resumes in 2022. In the meantime, ACS/ACC organizers remain committed to helping industry professionals stay up to date on the latest technology trends and innovations in coatings. Launching May 6 on ACC Virtual will deliver ACC presentations through an in-depth, online learning experience. Additional information about this unique opportunity will be available in the coming weeks.

ACS/ACC organizers will continue to keep exhibitors, attendees and stakeholders informed of further details related to the cancellation with an updated Q&A section at the ACS website.

The American Coatings Show and Conference is hosted by AC Media, in collaboration with the American Coatings Association and Vincentz Network (Disclaimer: European Coatings is published by Vincentz Network). The biennial trade show and technical conference is dedicated to serving as a global business platform and educational forum for the paint and coatings industry, offering a complete spectrum of current and future trends and technologies.
