Initially, the cooperation will become effective on January 1st for the Nordic countries of Denmark, Norway and Iceland. Both the distribution as well as the customer-specific advice for the use and processing of the mineral-based materials are being taken over.

Increasing demand

The Imerys portfolio includes a wide range of minerals, like talc, kaolin, ball clays, carbonate, precipitated calcium carbonate (PCC), diatomite earth, perlite, mica and wollastonite. With Imerys Performance Minerals, Bodo Möller Chemie wants to meet the increasing demand of the paint & coatings, inks, adhesives, rubber and plastic industry in the Nordics comprehensively.

“Imerys products are market leaders in the area of minerals and ideally supplement the portfolio of Bodo Möller Chemie. Our objective in all markets is a wide product offering that allows our customers to receive all needed materials from one single source, especially as in this way we can also ideally optimize our other services for applying and processing all product groups,” says Peter Holm, Managing Director of Bodo Möller Chemie Denmark ApS.
