Brenntag expands local presence in Massachusetts
Brenntag has opened a new production and warehouse facility in Upton, Massachusetts. This new 33,000-square feet facility solidifies the company’s presence as chemicals distributor in the Northeast region of the United States.
The New England facility is centrally located, with easy access to main thoroughfares like I-90 and I-95 and full rail access. It is equipped with 500,000 gallons of bulk storage capacity, automated packaging lines for solvents, oxidisers and corrosive chemicals, and extensive rail access for greater efficiency and movement of materials.

“Upton provides a perfect location to improve service levels and grow volumes with the existing customer base in the region,” stated Scott Leibowitz, Regional President Brenntag Essentials. “In 2017, we invested in this area to expand our capabilities by opening a warehouse in West Boylston. Upton adds packaging capability in the region, enabling us to service our customers in a reliable and cost-efficient way.”
