Covestro appoints new head of European production sites
Dr. Yun Chen has assumed the role of Head of Covestro’s European production sites as of February 1, 2025, succeeding Dr. Daniel Koch.
A chemical engineer with a Ph.D. from Germany, Chen has been with Covestro for nearly 30 years. He previously oversaw the company’s production activities in the Asia-Pacific region. In his new position, Chen is responsible for managing the European production sites of the Performance Materials Business Entity, with a focus on enhancing safety and efficiency in manufacturing processes.
“I want to contribute my experience from Asia while learning from the expertise of our European teams. Ensuring the safety of employees and production facilities is my top priority,” said Chen.
