Dr Sonja Schulte takes over as Vice President Coatings Division
Dr Sonja Schulte has taken over the management of the Coatings publishing division at Vincentz Network on 1 April 2022. She succeeds Jürgen Nowak, who led the publishing division for 19 years. Nowak is now responsible for the development of the division’s global activities, starting 1 February 2022. Sabine Bischoff has been the new Editor-in-Chief since November 2021.
Sonja Schulte had held various positions in the coatings editorial department at Vincentz Network since 2006, most recently as the Editor-in-Chief. She had left the company in June 2021 to take on a new challenge with one of the largest energy and telecommunications providers in Germany.
The chemist took over as Vice President Coatings Division on 1 April 2022. “The coatings industry has a lot of challenges to overcome currently and in the near future. Vincentz Network has been serving the industry for over 100 years and I am delighted to continue to accompany and support the industry together with my team”, said Schulte.
Sabine Bischoff has already been appointed as the Editor-in-Chief in the Coatings publishing division in November 2021. Prior to that, the coatings engineer was a congress editor at Vincentz Network for the Automotive Circle and was previously responsible for process support of pretreatment and cathodic dip painting of the current series at an OEM. In her several years as a scientist, she has driven developments in the fields of self-healing and functional coatings and is a proven expert in these areas.
