ECS Award 2017: And the winner is…
Bas Tuijtelaars and his team at DSM Coating Resins have received the European Coatings Show Award for their conference paper.
The winner of the European Coatings Show Award for best paper handed in for the 2017 European Coatings Show Conference is Bas Tuijtelaars and his team at DSM Coating Resins in The Netherlands. Editor-in-chief of European Coatings Journal, Dr. Sonja Schulte, who hosted the plenary session, announced the winners, stressing that the ECS Conference was always an opportunity to “detect the best of the best”. The title of the award-winning paper is “Health risk-free resins for a better future, based on fatty acid modified polyurethane dispersions.”
A prestigIous Prize
The 2,000 EUR prize money and a commemorative trophy was handed over by Dr. Schulte to Tuijtelaars after the keynote speech. The Award was sponsored by the European Coatings Journal and was presented during the plenary session of the conference on 3 April.
