Expansion in Southeast Asia: Tesa opens new strategic hub in Thailand
Tesa, an international manufacturer of adhesive tapes and self-adhesive product solutions, has opened a new Customer Solution Center and new office space in the Thai capital Bangkok.
According to the company, this strategic expansion marks a significant step in further expanding its presence and customer relations in Southeast Asia. Last year, tesa inaugurated the new production facility in Haiphong, Vietnam. In March 2024, a new office was opened in Hanoi. The new space in Bangkok now represents another important milestone in this journey.
Andreas Gunnestrand, Regional Manager Tesa Asia Pacific, says: “Our investments in the new Customer Solution Center and the new office space in Bangkok underline our commitment to the Southeast Asian market. We want to work even more closely with our customers locally.”

The new Customer Solution Center in Bangkok features simulation and testing capabilities. It is specifically geared towards customers and partners in the automotive, electronics, and home appliance industries. Visitors can test applications using specialised equipment in a total area of 850 square metres, including a 100-square-metre laboratory unit. This includes, for example, an oven and a climate chamber for testing adhesive solutions.
The building that houses the new Customer Solution Center and office space in Bangkok is LEED Gold certified, as is TESA’s manufacturing plant in Haiphong.
