Flint Group opens production facility for water-based and radiation-curing printing inks and coatings in India
Flint Group has announced the opening of a new production facility in Savli, Vadodara, India. The 9,000-square-metre plant will primarily produce water-based inks and coatings for the paper and packaging industry, as well as UV-curable inks for the label and narrow-web sectors. This expansion marks a significant increase in Flint Group’s manufacturing capacity in India, catering to the rising demand within the region’s packaging market.
The facility will focus on producing Flint Group’s AQUACode range of water-based inks and coatings, designed to help printers achieve their sustainability goals while maintaining high performance. Full operational capability, including in-house base manufacturing, is expected by early Q2 2025. The plant will also manufacture Flint Group’s EkoCure® Dual Cure range, which serves the growing Indian label and narrow-web market with an environmentally friendly solution.
