The effect pigments manufacturer Eckart has entered into a joint venture agreement with Runaya. The company, headquartered in India, maintains partnerships with leading global technology providers for a variety of products. The joint venture is building a new plant in Orissa, India, to manufacture sustainable spherically atomised aluminum granules. The granules are used in high-end applications in the aerospace industry, in solar panels and in high-quality effect pigments.

The strategic partnership is committed to promoting sustainability. For example, the joint venture will use recycled aluminum and energy from renewable sources for its production. The joint venture will serve the growing Indian market.

Runaya and Eckart have also signed a memorandum of understanding to manufacture high-quality aluminum pigments.
