Levaco Chemicals establishes subsidiary in Brazil
Levaco Chemicals, a leading supplier of specialty chemical products, announces that it has successfully completed the legal incorporation of Levaco Brasil on 1 July 2023.
With the aim of expanding its international presence and entering new markets, the medium-sized company has taken the step of investing in the promising Brazilian market. The establishment of a sales and logistics location in Brazil is already in full swing. Levaco has established an initial team of qualified employees on site and is supported by experienced local consultants. With this foundation, the company aims to have its organisation fully operational in Brazil by early 2024. Levaco has installed a warehouse in São Paolo to ensure the best possible supply to customers and faster availability of products.
Specialty chemicals
Levaco Chemicals GmbH is one of the leading manufacturers of specialty chemicals and additives with its headquarters and production site in Chempark Leverkusen. Formerly part of the Bayer Group, the medium-sized company was spun off in 2014 after several years in the structures of Lanxess and Tanatex. Levaco Chemicals has decades of experience in the production of process chemicals for the agricultural, food, paper, cable and construction industries. Specialty chemicals include defoamers, dispersants, emulsifiers and wetting agents.
