Klumpp, together with its sister company Oskar Nolte, belongs to the Hamburg-based SIC Holding, which is owned by the Möhrle family. Klumpp has been developing coatings for the flooring and furniture industry for over 100 years. As part of its focus on flooring and industrial furniture customers working with solvent-free systems in roller application, the company has sold a portfolio of customers to Mipa.

Klumpp Coatings focuses on environmentally friendly coating systems

At Mipa, conventional solventborne systems are developed alongside waterborne solutions, as are modern high-solids and UV systems. Klumpp Coatings, on the other hand, concentrates exclusively on environmentally compatible, radiation-curing and waterborne coating systems. With this focus and through investments in this area, the company aims to expand its position as a technology leader for floor systems.
