Canadian coating manufacturer Protech Group has acquired Caldwell Chemical Coatings, strengthening its position in the liquid coatings sector.

As part of its growth strategy, Protech Group has acquired Caldwell Chemical Coatings, a Tennessee-based specialist in liquid coatings. Caldwell, known for its high-quality industrial coatings, has established a loyal client base in the U.S. Through this acquisition, Protech aims to build on these relationships, offering Caldwell clients an expanded network of products and technologies on a global scale.

Protech has announced that it will maintain the production facility in Fayetteville, ensuring continuity in local relationships. Caldwell customers can continue purchasing their usual products but will also gain access to Protech’s broader range of products and technological resources. Rob Caldwell, CEO of Caldwell Chemical Coatings, expressed enthusiasm for the acquisition, stating, “We look forward to joining the Protech family to grow our liquid coatings business together.”
