Stockmeier takes over the majority of shares of Innochem in Belgium

Stockmeier acquires the majority of shares in the international specialty chemicals distributor Innochem, based in Meerhout, Belgium.

With the acquisition of the majority of shares in Innochem NV, the Stockmeier Group intends to continue its expansion course in Europe. In addition to its home market of Germany, the Bielefeld-based family business is also represented in Spain, France, Benelux, Switzerland, Austria and Central Eastern Europe.

“Expand portfolio in the specialty market”

With Innochem NV the existing Belgian market is now supposed to be further developed. “We are very pleased that Innochem NV is now part of our group of companies and that Stockmeier will expand its portfolio in the specialty market.”, says Peter Stockmeier, Managing Partner of the Stockmeier Group, about the latest acquisition.

Jan Fias, the General Manager of Innochem NV states that „The incorporation of our activities in the bigger structure of the Stockmeier Gruppe will allow us to offer our suppliers and customers a pan-European approach without compromising on our flexibility.“
