The ECS opens its doors
After a successful first conference day on Monday, the European Coatings Show has now opened its doors on Tuesday, March 28.
After the break due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Nuremberg is finally the meeting place for the international coatings industry again. The show opened on March 28 and runs through March 30. Exhibitors from all over the world will present the latest innovations.
Successful first conference day
In addition to the exhibition, the European Coatings Show Conference will also take place. On March 27, the conference was opened with a plenary session. Participants listened intently to the keynote address “The role of paints and coatings in a sustainable future” by Wijnand Bruinsma, Director Sustainability at Akzo Nobel. Afterwards, the ECS Conference Award was presented. Dr. Hong Xu from Cardolite was honored for her contribution “Sustainable CNSL-based Diluent Designed for High- performance Low VOC Protective Coatings”. Today will be the second and final day of the ECS Conference.
