Uzin Utz with a new production facility in the USA
A new dry mortar plant from Uzin Utz is being built on an area of 61,000 m² in Waco, Texas.
Thenew facility will produce self-leveling compounds, patches, thin sets, grouts, and other product categories in the future. In addition to manufacturing capacities it will also be the location of the new Uzin Utz North America training center for all brands, and the central location for R&D. With an investment of over EUR 28 million (USD 34 million) by the Uzin Utz Group the new manufacturing facility will generate around 40 new job opportunities for the region. The plant is estimated to be operational by mid-2022.
Third location in North America
Waco, Texas will mark the third location in North America for Uzin Utz North America Inc. Current locations include a manufacturing facility in Dover, Delaware and distribution facility in Aurora, Colorado. The expansion also adds to the extensive global manufacturing footprint of the Uzin Utz Group with manufacturing facilities in Germany, Netherlands, France, Poland, Switzerland, Slovenia, Indonesia, and China.
