With the construction of the new chemical plant, the specialist for technical biocides will produce the majority of its required raw materials in Germany in future. This will shorten transport routes and supply chains, such as to the company headquarters in Kakenstorf, Lower Saxony. The proximity to the port of Hamburg also means that the sea route, which is important for the company, can be reached quickly.

Production to start in mid-2026.

According to the company, the raw materials will also be produced more efficiently at the new site than at the current foreign suppliers. A total of over EUR 30 million is to be invested in the Schwerin site. Production is scheduled to start in mid-2026.
