Bavaria’s Minister President Markus Söder emphasised in his welcoming address: “Performance and innovation are a good fit for Bavaria. The chemical industry is essential for Bavaria as an industrial centre and secures many jobs. We are committed to SMEs, family businesses and global players. Unfortunately, there is a passion in many places in Germany to weaken ourselves. Instead, the right thing to do would be to strengthen our companies: This includes good framework conditions for the economy, a secure energy supply with a permanently favourable industrial electricity price and a new performance principle. Work and a culture of performance must be worthwhile again.”
