Wilhelm Niemann Maschinenfabrik delivers dispersing machines to Aditya Birla
Wilhelm Niemann Maschinenfabrik has recently received the largest order in the company’s history from the Aditya Birla Group in India for the delivery of 36 high-performance dispersing machines.
The Aditya Birla Group is entering the paint and varnish production with its subsidiary Grasim and relies on the Kreis-Dissolver from Melle in Lower Saxony, Germany. According to the company, the economic situation in India is currently very good, with growth rates of 8%; the paint and coatings industry in India is also growing rapidly by 12-15% annually and continues to promise significant growth.
Six new paint factories
The Aditya Birla Group is now building six new paint factories almost simultaneously, spread across the country. The previous order included the machinery for four of the new plants. Now the order has been extended to include twelve more machines for the fifth and sixth plants. Deliveries are scheduled to take place between March and July 2023. For plant 5, deliveries are scheduled for fall 2023 and plant 6 for spring 2024.
