Abrafati: Call for Papers open
The call for papers for the 17th International Coatings Congress – part of Abrafati 2021 which is to take place from September 28 to 30 in 2021 – is open until March 10.
That way, those interested in sharing their latest research efforts and findings will have enough time to draw up and send their papers to the Scientific Commitee for review.
Expectations are quite high for this edition of the Congress in terms of both the quality and breadth of its program as well as the innovations and improvements being ushered in thanks to the technical expertise of Vincentz and NürnbergMesse, Abrafati‘s partners for the trade show. New developments have already been implemented, among them a robust and user-friendly system for submitting papers online.
Focus on technical and scientific presentations
The program is going to be focused on technical and scientific presentations, with no advertising or sales contents contemplated. Accordingly, papers are expected to display imapcting innovations and results of ongoing or newly concluded research.
The issues that most mobilised research and development teams within the supply chain will be in the spotlight, including those whose relevance has been growing in the past few months, such as paints and coatings with health and safety features, biobased products, nanotechnology and digitisation in the coatings industry, among numerous other issued related to the requirements from consumers and the vrios markets served by the industry.
To have their papers reviewed, applicants should send summaries to the Scientific Committee for of Congress. They can be submitted in Portuguese or Snglish and must also include the author‘s job information.
