Axalta opens new site in Midrand, South Africa

Midrand was chosen as the location for Axalta's new South African corporate headquarters because of its favourable location and ability to reach and serve a large customer base. With additional Refinish offices in Cape Town, KwaZulu-Natal and Port Elizabeth, Axalta is well positioned in South Africa to meet the needs of its customers.

Professional training for refinishers

The offices and the training room for theoretical contents with multimedia equipment are already in operation. The practical training area – including spray booths and mixing room – will be available for training participants from mid-2019. After completion, the facility will offer repair painters the opportunity for high-quality, professional training. There they can acquire knowledge and skills for daily use in their own body shop and paint shop.
