Benseler takes over Beteo
With effect from 1 January 2019, the Benseler Group has acquired LISI Automotive Beteo GmbH & Co. KG, Gummersbach, Germany.
The surface specialists, headquartered in Markgröningen, are thus expanding their portfolio in the field of zinc flake processes and screw locks.
The company LISI Automotive Beteo GmbH & Co. KG was founded in Gummersbach (North Rhine-Westphalia) in 1982 and belonged to the French LISI Group until 31 December 2018.
About Beteo
The company produces high-quality thread locking coatings, corrosion protection coatings and lubricant coatings for threaded parts, stamped and bent parts as well as turned parts. Customers are manufacturers of fasteners in Europe; a large proportion of the corrosion and safety coatings are intended for the automotive sector. From 1 January 2019, the new Benseler subsidiary will operate under the name Benseler Beteo GmbH & Co. KG.
The new Benseler subsidiary rounds off the service portfolio of the surface specialists also in the field of zinc flake coating for components with smaller dimensions and/or complex geometries such as small internal force drives.
