Bodo Möller Chemie Group acquires French distributor Acanthe
Bodo Möller Chemie Group recently acquired the French distributor Acanthe. Based in Neuville-sur-Saône, the company specialises in mould making applications and supplies more than 400 customers in France.
“Acanthe is a renowned distributor with in-depth application knowledge in the mould making and composites industries. With the aim of meeting industrial users at eye level, it fits in with our consulting and sales strategy,” explains Frank Haug, CEO of the international Bodo Möller Chemie Group.

Brands represented by Acanthe such as Ebalta or DowDuPont have been partners of Bodo Möller Chemie for many years. “The merger opens up many new synergies in terms of geography, competence expansion and supplier base. As a specialized distributor and solution provider, we see considerable growth potential in France,” adds Lionel Breuilly, Managing Director of Bodo Möller Chemie France.
The merger also meets the growing demand for composite materials in France.
