Brenntag acquires New England Resins & Pigments Corporation
Brenntag has announced the acquisition of New England Resins & Pigments Corporation (NERP), a distributor of specialty chemicals and packaging solutions primarily in New England.
The company, registered as NERP Holding CO. Inc., based in Woburn, Massachusetts, USA, mainly supplies manufacturers of paints, coatings, building materials, adhesives and other specialty products. Markus Klähn, Member of the Board of Brenntag AG and CEO Brenntag North America, said: “The acquisition supports our continued growth in specialty chemicals and strengthens our presence in the New England region.

NERP’s specialty chemicals portfolio includes color pigments, functional minerals and resins, and additives. The acquired company generated sales of EUR 25.2 million in fiscal year 2018.
