Byk has put into operation its new production and research facility in Gonzales, Texas with a Grand opening ceremony.

-The flexible manufacturing facility produces high-quality organoclays and additives. These products are specialty rheological additives that bring benefits in a wide range of applications.
Several other major investments
In addition to the new production facility, several other major investments were made at the Gonzales site:
– New research & development center
– New wastewater treatment plant
– New evaporator and thermal oxidiser
– New boilers, air compressors and centrifuges
These projects were also planned and built with a view to the declared corporate goal of being CO2-neutral by 2025.
