Chembid expands activities in Indian chemicals market
Chembid, the world’s largest meta-search engine for chemicals and plastics, plans to expand its activities in India in 2020.

Both chemical production there and the demand for chemicals and their consumption have increased significantly in recent years. Over the past ten years, India has almost tripled the market volume of the domestic chemical industry.
Indian platforms, shops and further services
To take this development into account, the internet and big data company Chembid is intensifying its activities in India. The aim is to supplement the partner network on the subcontinent with Indian platforms and shops as well as further services such as industry-relevant service providers. Accordingly, Chembid would like to tailor its services more specifically to the Indian market and expand its own product portfolio with new platform partners.
Currently, about 30 percent of users – above all buyers of chemicals – from India access the search engine.
