Clariant and Neste to work together to develop sustainable solutions
Clariant has signed a new cooperation agreement with Neste. As a result, sustainable solutions for a variety of industries, such as adhesives, plastics and coatings, will be made more accessible.
Thanks to the partnership with Neste, Clariant is now able to provide sustainable polyolefin solutions derived from renewable hydrocarbons. Renewable hydrocarbons as a full substitute
The raw materials, C2-/C3-monomers, are obtained from renewable hydrocarbons, which produce nests from 100% renewable raw materials and which originate from raw material wastes and residues, such as used cooking oil and renewable vegetable oils. These C2 and C3 monomers are a full substitute for those currently used by Clariant in the production of polyolefin solutions for a wide range of applications.
