Coatings manufacturer Berger makes new major investments
Two new warehouses and logistics halls as well as a large technology centre for development and application technology are being built at the Grünstadt site.
This initiative underscores the company's focus on innovation and Cutting-edge technology in its market segments. At the same time, the production facilities are expanded and thus new capacities are to be created. With this setting of the course for the future existing capacities will be significantly expanded and created for further growth in Berger's highly specialised market segments of the industry, window and parquet coatings. The investment volume is in the seven-digit range. Completion is scheduled for spring 2019.
About the Technology Center Industrial Coatings
The new, partly two-storey Technology Center Industrial Coatings with a floor area of almost 1000 sqm will significantly expand capacities in the area of development and application technology 2 with a focus on industrial coatings and window coatings. New development laboratories, a large pilot plant for testing and presenting paint systems, training rooms, testing rooms and a workshop for preparing and storing samples will be built.
